A Medical Approach to Your Skin Male or Female

Clinically-proven, data-backed aesthetic treatments in a serene spa-like setting. “We specialize in medical-grade facial treatments and skin care ‘bootcamps’ performed by our highly experienced staff,” says Dr. Lori Aliksanian, the ultimate professional and vivacious owner of MedBeautyLA, located at 1100 S. Hope St. in the Luma Lofts.

“We offer Botox, facial balancing, photo facials, microneedling, and more, and our skin care bootcamps target a wide variety of skin concerns. We take a much more medical approach to skin, which is why our results are so good. We have clients who come from all over Los Angeles for our treatments and some even fly in from elsewhere.”

Dr. Lori is a trained surgeon with experience in wound reconstructive surgery. She has taken her knowledge and passion for skin to help thousands of clients at MedBeautyLA, which opened in 2019. Her staff includes two licensed nurses and three estheticians. Their immaculately clean treatment rooms incorporate state-of-the-art technology, including a Stellar M22 laser for fine lines, sunspots, skin tightening, and more. Their Trilift machine combines radiofrequency energy with microneedling and electrocurrent to naturally rejuvenate the skin and lift the cheeks and jawline.

According to Dr. Lori, about 40% of MedBeautyLA’s clients are male, with the average age range between 25-50 years old (though she is seeing a trend of more men between 45-55 also seeking treatment).

For 2024, MedBeautyLA has expanded its popular skin care Bootcamps to include The Fine Line Buster Bootcamp, The Facial Rejuvenation Bootcamp, and the GLOW Camp (for a glowing, “filterless” complexion). This is in addition to their already existing offerings for acne, acne scarring, and hyperpigmentation (i.e. brown spots). The MedBeautyLA Bootcamps typically last 12 –16 weeks and include 5-6 in-office treatments paired with a customized at-home product routine to enhance results.

MedBeautyLA is offering $50 off for first treatments for all South Park residents.

Dr. Lori even said she can design a program to reduce my wrinkles and skin pigment. Even at my age, I guess there is still room for improvement.
