A Message from DTLA RA (Downtown Los Angeles Residents Association for all of Downtown)
We’re committed to helping more downtowners get jobs in local government. As part of that strategy, starting today, DTLA RA is going to:
Create a DTLA Resident Civic Staffer Pipeline: We will help downtown residents submit resumes for consideration to be staffers and representatives at the city, county, state, and federal levels so that decisions made about DTLA have DTLA resident voices at the table.
Increase Resident Awareness About Available Civic Jobs: We will source jobs from city, county, state, and federal leaders to share with you to increase the pipeline of downtowners applying to do work on behalf of their community.
This will be an ongoing DTLA RA initiative, and it’s a two-way street.
We plan to proactively send a first round of resumes to elected officials, many of whom are hiring as they take office, on Friday, December 6, 2024.
If you're interested in a new role now, please complete this interest form and upload your resume by that deadline or share this email with a friend or neighbor who might be a great fit.
If you have questions or feedback about specific offices or roles, please email us back at info@dtlara.org
We’re excited to help more downtowners like you help our neighborhood thrive.
