Chick Hearn Court Closed, LA Live Street Project Begins

 AEG started construction on Chick Hearn Court from Figueroa Street to Georgia Street on Thursday, September 19. This project will connect Peacock Place, a premier outdoor gathering space, with Crypto.com Arena. This portion of 11th Street will be permanently closed to traffic.

This expansion will “ensure that L.A. LIVE continues to be an unrivaled destination for both local fans and guests from around the world,” said Cara Vanderhook, Vice President, Marketing and Communications.

The anticipated completion for this project is January 31, 2025. There will be a scrim fence around the construction during this time and new directional signage placed along the fence to advise guest L.A. LIVE restaurants are open.  

         A rendering of the street project is expected soon, and we will share when available.

Also phase three of renovations are close to completion at Crypto.com Arena for the upcoming NBA and NHL season.
