I recently spoke to Nick and asked him several questions:

What is the average life of a HVAC system here in DTLA?  His answer was 15 to 20 years.  As most of the newer living units in the neighborhood are approaching this age, expect to have some issues that will require his services.

What is the one main maintenance item required to get maximum system life?  His answer was changing the system air filter on a regular basis.  Every three to six months is the overall best practice.  This takes only minutes to complete and you can do it yourself!
