Helping Children Affected by Wildfires
Majestic Art Gallery is assembling art supplies for schools and shelters for children affected by the wildfires to help them through these difficult times. For more information about the Creative Care Kit, check out https://majesticartgallery.org/creative-care-kits.
Also, for the last four years, Majestic Art Gallery has been committed to helping youth and families save for higher education. Parents work with financial advisors to set up a savings investment plan. Majestic Art also has a scholarship fund to help young artists start a savings plan and the young artists can also receive a commission through direct sales of their artwork to help fund their savings plan.
Another way to help, attend the Faces of Downtown Art Show on February 20, hosted by Arizona State University Local Los Angeles at the historic Harold Examiner Building (Broadway between 11thand 12th Streets). Young artists, pre-K through 12th grade, have submitted self-portraits for the exhibit. There will be an in-person and online auction to support young artists for their higher education savings.
