LA Live’s Crypto.com Arena is 25 years Old, Time for a Make-over

Crypto.com Arena (won’t it always be Staples Center!) is 25-years-old this year and is celebrating the event by completing a 9 figure multi-million over-haul of fan-based facilities.  There is something new here for every guest including a stunning new center-hung scoreboard featuring a six display 5,500 square foot configuration that is a continuous canvas wrapping and a whopping 41.7 million pixels.  The configuration allows it to show multiple zones of information, graphics and animations, and, of course, sponsorship messages.  Video Link here:

Additional fan benefits include refreshed super-premium spaces, Yaamava Club by San Manuel and an expanded Lexus Club as well as the completely new indoor-outdoor City View Terrace.  New food offerings will include the first Doritos Restaurant, Doritos After Dark.  Also debuting is fuku, a spicy fried chicken concept developed by local Chef and TV host David Chang.  In addition, Ludobab and Trois Familia concepts have been added to the very popular LudoBird Concession stands inside the arena.  These new offerings will greatly expand the Areana’s culinary offerings (and no doubt have the same effect on many fans’ waistlines).

For those who have not been to LA Live lately there is also an exciting addition to the outside of the Arena Complex.  Chick Hern Drive, separating Crypto.com Arena from the rest of the LA Live events complex, has been permanently closed and is now being morphed into an exciting new park/entertainment/gathering area that will connect the Arena and Peacock Place, creating a huge outdoor gathering space.

Everyone who attends activities at Crypto.com Arena will welcome LA Live’s new partnership with Evolv Technology as their official screening technology partner.  Evolv is a leader in AI-based technology with the roll out of its new Evolv Express screening system that will allow fans to move through security checkpoints more quickly and efficiently.  Evolv promises a streamlined and much easier screening process that will allow guests to keep keys, phones, billfolds, etc. in their pockets while they go through the entry gates.  Just Imagen!

Crypto.com VIP Tours will kick off on November 1, 2024.  Tour tickets are exclusively available now for purchase on AXS.com.  These tours will offer an exclusive glimpse into the new features of the arena and access to many areas of the complex that most fans never see, including locker rooms and dressing rooms “that have hosted the likes of Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Bad Bunny, U2, and Adele.”

We now have a world class facility that will host the world for many years to come right here in our neighborhood!  Now, if we can just fix the Oceanwide problem….
