SP Neighbors Gather to Enjoy Beer, Pizza, Ice Cream, Desserts, Raffles, Socializing
The 3rd Annual Neighborhood Night Out in South Park on July 31 was the best of South Park – award winning beer from Audiograph/HiDef, Sabrasso pizza, Gelino’s Ice Cream, homemade desserts from neighbors, games, kids’ table, raffles, and lots of socializing with nearly 200 people attending!
Neighbors gathered on the patio of Audiograph (12th and Olive) to share a summer evening. Their kids enjoyed Jengo and Jumbo Tic/Tac/Toe games at the kids’ table and corn hole with their fathers. Neighbors loved Audiograph’s award-winning beers, ales, ciders. Neighbors enjoyed delicious pizza from Sabrossa food truck. Neighbors enjoyed Gelino’s variety of ice cream flavors – Challah French Toast, Meyer Lemoncello, So Vanilla – a favorite, Apple Butter Jeans, Company Cake, Chocolate Chocolate Cookie, Strawberry Fields for Always. Neighbors loved the raffles including $500 worth of tickets to Dignity Health California Hospital La Grande Affair, Cut to the Feeling Hair Salon for a blow-dry and deep conditioning treatment, bottles of wine from South Park Pharmacy, Dread’s Caribbean Food/Hygee Bakery $50 gift certificate, and a $50 gift certificate to a South Park restaurant of the winner’s choice (courtesy of Michael Robleto Compass Real Estate).
Neighbors also submitted their suggestions to name SPNA’s monthly newsletter with a chance to win a $100 gift certificate to a South Park restaurant.
For me, the best was meeting new neighbors, hearing their stories, seeing their love of South Park, and offering to join SPNA to build community, support our local businesses, and advocate for our neighborhood.
Another great evening with neighbors in South Park. I love my neighbors. I love my neighborhood!
