Wellness + Festival = Happy South Park Neighbors

         You MUST attend the Heart of the City Wellness Festival on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 10 am to 2 pm on Grand Avenue between Pico and Venice sponsored by Dignity Health California Hospital Medical Center. The festival is packed with all things related to wellness and offered to you in a fun-filled package. All for free!

Ö     Education from health to environment to social/emotional needs – how to stop the bleed, learn about strokes, gardening and composting and recycling, surviving an earthquake, therapy dogs, women’s health, and more.

Ö     And South Park Neighborhood Association will be there as well!

April 6 will be a time to celebrate the neighborhood, a time to gather with neighbors, and a time to thank Dignity Health California Hospital for being the oldest institution in South Park when 21 physicians acquired property at Hope and 15th Street to build a hospital in 1902 (after first establishing a 6 to 8-bed hospital in 1887 on W. 6th Street in downtown).
