Whether you are feeling like trying something new or just want to get out of the house to mix it up, Downtown LA has you covered with events! We’ve curated some upcoming June favorites just for you.
When: Saturday, June 1st 11am - 5pm
Where: Japanese American Cultural & Community Center (Little Tokyo)
Explore Japanese culture with premium sake tastings, unique Japanese food offerings, and yukata rentals in Little Tokyo! Tickets start at $85.50 and include unlimited sake tasting, authentic Japanese snacks, and Tippsy branded sake glasses.
DTLA Art Nights + Artist Link Up
When: June 6th, 6pm-10pm (and monthly, every 1st Thursday)
Where: Start at Emerging Gallery, 125 W. 4th St.
Artist Link-Up: Hilltop Coffee & Kitchen, 718 S. Hill St.
DTLA Art Nights is an artist’s and art lover’s paradise, featuring a walking tour with 25+ art galleries, participating bars, and restaurants. After exploring the galleries, make sure to stop by Hilltop Coffee & Kitchen for an artist link-up to connect with fellow artists over craft cocktails, delicious bites, and soulful music.
When: Every Sunday 10am - 4pm
Where: 777 S. Almeda St.
Every Sunday at The Row in the Arts District, you can experience an extensive selection of local food vendors in a large open-air market. Indulge in multiple cuisines and a family-friendly beer garden. Perfect for foodies and groups. Insider tip: get there early to skip the lines!
Festival Of the Forgotten Grapes
When: Saturday, June 29th 11:30pm - 5pm
Where: FRANKIE Los Angeles, 300 S. Mission Road
If you’ve found yourself in a wine-rut and want to try something out of the box, Festival of the Forgotten Grapes is a perfect way to taste and learn more about lesser-known wine varietals. Featuring more than 110 unique wine varietals, this event is all about celebrating the uncommon, “underdog” grapes of winemakers across California. Tickets start at $59, grab them while you can!
When: Fridays and Saturdays, 6pm-1am
Where: 33 Taps DTLA - 1240 S. Figueroa St.
Located right next door to 33 Taps, a hidden gem arcade room awaits you with classic arcade games and modern ones alike. Stop by the 33 Taps brewery for a drink first and then head over next door for a little friendly competition.
When: Every Wednesday, 11am - 5pm
Where: Pershing Square, DTLA
Join friends and neighbors at Pershing Square for local food trucks and artisanal goods every Wednesday. Make sure to bring a picnic blanket for the new grass to enjoy the eats on-site!
