Summer Movie Nights - Grand Hope Park

“Film, fashion, and flavor comes to Grand Hope Park (919 S. Grand) this summer.” DTLA Alliance and Street Food Cinema in partnership with ASU announce their summer movie nights in the park.

The first film on July 6 is The Devil Wears Prada about “a smart but sensible new graduate who lands a job as an assistant to a demanding editor-in-chief of a high fashion magazine.” Running time is 1 hour, 35 minutes.

Doors open at 6 pm, band at 7 pm, movie at 8:30 pm. Food trucks will be available along with audience games.

MC for the evening is Justine Marino – comedian, host, producer, director. Recently Justine was on tour with Hasan Minhaj, wrote and produced for hosts Yvette Nichole Brown and Felicia Day on The Walking Dead: Last Mile. Justine also produces and hosts the pop culture comedy podcast Glitter & Garbage on All Things Comedy Network.

As a salute to LA's fashion scene, all DTLA Movie Nights this summer will spotlight cult-classic fashion flicks. Following The Devil Wears Prada is Clueless on August 10 and Selena on September 21.

Bring a blanket, pick out a nice green space, and enjoy the movie, along with the skyline and night sky.
