In the Neighborhood, a Part of the Neighborhood West Coast Trial Lawyers

The Kobe and Gina mural located in South Park is here because of West Coast Trial Lawyers (WCTL). The mural is on the south side of their headquarters at 1147 S. Hope (corner of Hope and 12thStreet). Even though WCTL operates in 17 locations in California and more in Nevada, they have become a part of South Park.

Araceli Moreno, Client Relations for WCTL, shared their mission. “We aim to build meaningful relationships and contribute positively to the neighborhood. This approach is at the heart of our mission to make a lasting, positive impact.”

And that is what WCTL is doing. The mural is a testament to building a better neighborhood. WCTL felt inspired to commission the South Park mural to honor Kobe Bryant and his legacy steps away from where he played. But their support does not end with the mural.

In September, WCTL was a sponsor of SPNA’s (South Park Neighborhood Association) A Taste of South Park which brought 800 South Park residents together to enjoy the best food and drink from 16 venues in South Park. In addition to financial support, they staffed a booth to introduce themselves to the neighborhood. Araceli added, “Our participation in the Taste of South Park was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community and show our support for local businesses and residents. We enjoyed engaging with attendees, answering questions, and sharing information about our services. The event truly highlighted the vibrant spirit of the neighborhood, and we were grateful to be part of a positive and lively gathering that celebrates everything South Park has to offer.”

Some would even argue WCTL contributed the best raffle prize at A Taste of South Park. And the prize was …. a 32” television!

And let us not forget, WCTL bought a building in major disrepair and turned it into not only an amazing workspace for their workers but also a beautiful building for neighbors and visitors to enjoy when walking the neighborhood. It adds to the street life of South Park!

While WCTL chose South Park because of its proximity to the L.A. County courts in downtown where personal injury and employment cases are filed thus providing easy access for clients from major highways, they stay because of the “energy” in the neighborhood. This includes a plethora of restaurants, coffee shops, and after-work activities which WCTL lawyers and staff enjoy.  WCTL employs around 200 people.

Araceli grew up in L.A. and spent a lot of time shopping in the Fashion District. She knows South Park from that time to the vibrant community of today where employees arrive at the Pico Station. As she came in with her morning drink from a neighborhood spot, she thought about staff planning to gather at a local bar/restaurant before attending an event at Crypto.com, heading out to get food donations for their Thanksgiving food drive, and so many other ways in which WCTL employees enjoy the community.

While we all appreciate the good things about South Park, WCTL is also about improving it. One such area where they would like improvement is in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Which is also what South Park neighbors said when they voted on the feedback board at A Taste of South Park - security, clean sidewalks, graffiti abatement. WCTL would like to see a focused effort on graffiti cleanup that would enhance the neighborhood's appearance and help keep it a place we can all be proud of.

While WCTL’s clients come from far and wide, WCTL wants South Park residents to know they are here for us as well, to assist with personal injury and employment law needs. Araceli concluded, “Our goal is to support individuals and families in the community who may be facing challenging times, ensuring they have the guidance and representation they need. We are dedicated to serving our neighbors with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to justice. Feel free to visit our office or call us at (888) 888-9285 for a free consultation. We are available 27/4 to assist you.” Check out their website - https://westcoasttriallawyers.com/los-angeles-personal-injury-lawyer.

We thank you, WCTL, for your contribution to the neighborhood.
