Save The Date…A TASTE OF SOUTH PARK event!

All South Park residents and businesses are invited to A Taste of South Park on Saturday, September 23. Mark your calendar - save the date!

The South Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is proud to host this “free” community-wide event for South Park residents and businesses. The event will feature food, alcohol, and other businesses in South Park. The South Park Business Improvement District (SPBID) is the lead sponsor for A Taste of South Park.

Previously the event was a closed event hosted by four South Park residential buildings held three times between 2018 and 2022. The event in 2022 was held in early October along Grand Ave. between 11th and 12th Streets with 450 residents attending. South Park food and drink vendors participated as well as several food trucks Those in attendance reported on how much they enjoyed themselves and how it made them feel a stronger connection to their neighbors.

With the support of the South Park Business Improvement District (SPBID), South Park HOAs, South Park residential buildings, and local businesses, SPNA is opening this event to all South Park residents to help build a stronger sense of community. Over the past year, SPNA has hosted such events as A Night Out at the Belasco, Earth Day Spring Garden Party, Ugly Sweater Holiday Event, Howl-O-Ween Costume Event, South Park Wellness Fair, and other South Park meet and greet extravaganzas.

If you would like to be part of this major event, we encourage you to email us at spnadtla@gmail.com.  We are seeking the participation of South Park restaurants, bars, other businesses, as well as entertainers. If interested or want more information – email spnadtla@gmail.com.

·      We invite any HOAs or residential buildings who would like to participate in the event to connect with us at spnadtla@gmail.com.

·      We encourage South Park residents to join one of the event committees as we build a stronger neighborhood community. Email spnadtla@gmail.com.

·      We also are looking for volunteers the day of the event. The more participation and the more resources available, the better the event!A caring neighbor will respond to you in a timely manner.

Get involved and help us build a strong, inclusive, and friendly neighborhood!
